Description: This collection seems to have been very successful, because it was many times reprinted by Pierre Phalèse and later by his son Pierre Phalèse II.Other printers in the Netherlands also printed a "Livre septiesme" (the title was changed by Phalèse in 1573), some of them copies of one or the other Phalèse print, some with additional works by contemporary composers.

The 32rd edition is, according to Vanhulst, in every detail identical to the 28th edition, except for the year in the title page. Anne Tatnall Gross doesn't count it as a separate edition.
